Stroll down Amsterdam's beautiful canals, wonder at 17th century gable houses and stock up on local delicacies. Explore Brussels, admiring the Art Nouveau and Art Deco architectural treasures, the majestic Grand Place and one of the most magnificent city squares in the world. Next stop is Paris where the view of the Eiffel Tower from Mountparnasse never fails to delight. Take in the gothic delights of the Arc de Triomphe, the Cathedral of Notre Dame and sit in one of its infamous streetside cafés to watch the world go by. The Château and Gardens of Versailles give us a day away from the hustle and bustle, to step back in time and explore the World Heritage Site first laid out in the 1630's. Take the Eurotunnel train from Paris under the English Channel to our final stop in London and the iconic sights of this capital, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and an English 'High Tea' or perhaps a pub, to discover your favourite English ale.

DAY 1 - Arrive into Amsterdam

You will be met at Amsterdam Schipol Airport [AMS] and transferred to our first hotel in Amsterdam to meet your Tour Director and the rest of the group. Tonight there is a welcome dinner planned together at the hotel.

DAY 2 - Amsterdam City Tour

After breakfast our coach will take us to the centre of Amsterdam for a 2 hour walking tour. Enjoy views of the historic Central Station and a walk along the city’s beautiful canals to Dam Square and the Royal Palace. We pass beautiful churches, the famous Anne Frank House, many 17th century gable houses leaning towards the streets and the ancient Beguine Begijnhof. You will also visit the infamous Red Light District as well as learning about life living in Amsterdam.

After lunch together we will enjoy a canal cruise, departing from outside the Heineken Experience, to see Amsterdam from a different perspective. The local guide will give you recommendations on where you might like to have your dinner, or explore a little more for yourself to find somewhere that looks interesting for you! We will be collected by the coach again to returned to the hotel at the end of the evening.

DAY 3 - Antwerp and Brussels

This morning we board the coach for a transfer to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. We will break the journey in the Belgian historic port city of Antwerp, the ‘City of Diamonds’ for lunch.

There will be time for you to explore the surrounding area after check-in and find yourself somewhere perfect for an evening meal.

DAY 4 - Brussels sightseeing

Today we enjoy a 3 hour combined walking and coach tour of Brussels. On this tour, we discover the communes of Brussels, which developed in the 19th century; the Heysel plateau in Laeken, the Cinquantenaire neighbourhood, and the Free University of Brussels. On the way, we will have the opportunity to admire some Art Nouveau and Art Deco architectural treasures.

After lunch together, there will be some free time this afternoon to explore the heart of Brussels. You may wish to hunt out the majestic Grand Place, one of the most magnificent city squares in the world. Another must-see is Mannekin Pis, ask your guide how to find him. This amusing statue of a little boy has a vast wardrobe of costumes.

DAY 5 - Peronne and Paris

Today we say farewell to Belgium and head for France and the famous city of love, Paris. First stop of the day will be in Peronne, an important town on the ‘Circuit of Remembrance’. This area was greatly affected by the battles of WW1 and has become an area of memorials and contemplation.

We will enjoy dinner together this evening at the hotel.

DAY 6 - Paris Sightseeing

After breakfast we begin a guided tour of the highlights of Paris. You are sure to be awestruck by the sheer size of the iron-wrought Eiffel Tower as it towers over the city reaching for the heavens. Admire the Arc de Triomphe, standing proudly on the luxurious Champs-E´lyse´es and stand before the Cathedral of Notre Dame, watched by gargoyles, to marvel at the detail of this Gothic beauty. You will gain a real insight for the history and culture of the city as your guide unveils the history of these world renowned sights.

The tour ends at the Eiffel Tower for some free time before enjoying a river cruise along the River Seine, seeing Paris from a different perspective. Then we travel to the Montparnasse Tower for a glass of champagne at the panoramic observatory of only skyscraper in Paris. It offers an exceptional view of Paris from its 56th floor observation deck.

Dinner tonight will be together at a local restaurant.

DAY 7 - Day at Leisure in Paris

Today is yours to spend as you wish. There is much to choose from and your guide is on hand to help with suggestions and logistsics. Why not explore the ‘Parisian's Paris’ by strolling along the tree-lined Boulevard St Germain and sitting in one of the city’s infamous streetside cafe´s to watch the world go by. Wander down the paths lining the Canal St Martin, rummage through the tomes in the bookshops of St Michel or while the afternoon away in the city’s famous gardens and parks, including the Jardins de Luxembourg or the Bois de Boulogne and Vincennes. Alternatively, you may wish to take a cruise along Canal Saint Martin, a unique way to see north-eastern Paris, one of its best-kept secrets. Sail through locks and under swing bridges, ending at the ultra-modern Parc de la Villette. The difficulty may be in deciding what not to do today!

DAY 8 - Versailles

Today is a full day excursion to Versailles by coach. The Chateau and Gardens of Versailles are among the most illustrious of world heritage sites and the splendour here really has to be seen to be understood. Built by the 'Sun King' Louis XIV, the Chateau contains a magnificent collection of furniture and art works. Enjoy a guided tour of the interior and then a leisurely stroll through the stunning formal gardens. Lying west of the palace, the gardens span around 800 hectares and took around 40 years to complete. They are famous for their geometric designs with terraces, tree-lined paths, ponds and canals throughout.

Back to the hotel this evening in time for you to be able to make dinner arrangements.

DAY 9 - Paris to London by train

After a final breakfast, our coach will collect us for the transfer to Paris Gare du Nord station to take the Eurostar train under the English Channel and into London. In just two and a half hours you will arrive into London St Pancras, where your coach will be waiting for you.

We enjoy a guided tour of London (with a stop for lunch) where you will see many of the iconic sights of the Capital, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Hyde Park. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos!

DAY 10 - London River Cruise

Today we head down to the river to enjoy an informative cruise along the famous Thames from Westminster to Greenwich, passing several of London's most iconic sights including the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. This will be followed by some free time for you to explore- why not take some time to visit beautiful and elegant town of Greenwich with its wonderful architecture and rich naval heritage. You may just want to wander the riverside and enjoy watching the world go by.

Make sure you return to the hotel in time for a farewell drink and dinner together tonight.

DAY 11 - Goodbye to London and Home

Today we say a fond farewell to London and the new friends you have made. Safe journeys home. Please let us know if you require an airport transfer today.
