Overview

Choose your own departure date for your group.

>We'll enjoy some of the romance of Venice before we head to Croatia and the rich history and culture waiting to be explored at its many UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

This Journey is packed with experiences to absorb the rich culture, tastes, sights and sounds of the meditteranean region. Venice is one of the most alluring cities in the world- a city of 118 islands, separated by canals on a lagoon in the sea. Soak up the sights and sounds and renaissance architecture on a city tour.

Then it's onward to a lesser known but equally beautiful exploration of the Adriatic. The Istrian peninsula of Croatia, on the northern-most arm of the Meditteranean sea, is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic and has an impressive, verdant coastline. The Roman ruins in Pula include the famous and well-preserved Roman ampitheatre. Plitvice Lakes, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are unique to the world with 16 lakes connected with waterfalls. Take in tours of golden islands and explore cities such as Opatija, Zadar, Sibenik and Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic and experience the rich history of Slovenia in Ljubljana, the Capital, and explore the largest known cave system at Postojna.  From Venice to Dubrovnik is certainly a journey worth making!
